The Understanding the Holocaust Project

This project is designed to give students a unique and deeper understanding of the Holocaust that corresponded with World War II. This is a multidimensional project involving traditional learning methods that range from reading the non-fiction book, Anne Frank- Diary of a Young Girl , to having a virtual environment experience where students can role-play, create an exhibit like a museum curator, make machinima (movie making), as well as, a multitude of multidisciplinary Common Core based learning outcomes.

The Heir of the King

The Heir of the King project is designed for 6th Grade students learning about Medieval History.
Students will be given a Role to play in a medieval setting whereby they need to collaborate and work together to interact with others to find out the rightful Heir of the King of an imaginary English Kingdom.
Common Core based reading, writing, technology, and collaboration skills will be highlighted.
